The West Prairie Spanish Club will be selling friendship bracelets, bookmarks, and coin purses from Guatemala for $5 each. We will be selling during lunch every Tuesday from April 21st through Cinco de Mayo. If you miss the sale, you may purchase items individually from a Spanish Club member or from Ms. Kernek.
Attention Cyclones!! We are looking for talented students to perform in the Variety Show. If you can sing, dance, play a musical instrument, juggle, tell jokes, or anything in between, come sign up with either Mr. Sullivan or Mrs. Gravina!
All future high school boys basketball players—if you’re currently in grades 8–11 and interested in the 2026–2027 basketball season, on April 24th during your lunch period, stop by the gym to connect with Coach Conkling. You’ll get important details about summer workouts, training opportunities, and everything you need to know to prepare for the upcoming season.
There will be a High School Cheerleading interest meeting for students currently in the 8th-11th grades on April 27th 6:00pm in the Media Center.
The WP Athletic Boosters are exploring a summer Strength & Conditioning program for Jr. High and High School athletes, focused on strength, speed, agility, stamina, and injury prevention.
If you’re interested, please sign up in the office this week. Parents can also email Lisa at fenteml@wp103.org. More details will be shared if there’s enough interest!
Good morning, West Prairie! Want to spend a day outside and knock out some service hours?
On May 11th, we’re heading to Argyle Lake State Park for a landscaping and weeding Service Project. Interested Students must be in high school and in good standing. Spaces are limited, so don't get left behind! Email Mrs. Leenerts or stop by the main office today to sign up. Let's get to work!
Students, just a quick reminder of our expectations for arrival. When you get to school, please come straight into the building. Students should not remain in vehicles or hang out in the parking lot once they arrive on campus.
FIELD TRIPS & EARLY DISMISSALS
As we move into the spring season, there will be more early dismissals for athletics, field trips, and other activities.
As a reminder, if you miss class, you are responsible for completing any missed work. Be sure to communicate with your teachers in advance to find out expectations and deadlines.
When returning from a field trip, report directly to the class that is in session. This is not free time—do not wander the halls or spend extended time in restrooms. Any student who does not report to class upon return is marked as absent-unexcused.

Students that requested to take a dual credit course next year have received an email with a form that must be filled out and returned by May 1st. There are also copies outside of the office.
